I was nice to it, or as nice as you can be driving a roller skate along
the road between Brackley and Deddington. Was that a hump back bridge I
just drove over and got in a bit of air time?

Its an easy job. All you do is take the blow side off the fuel pump and
switch the engine on. Half an hour later the diesel/unleaded mix is on
the floor of the concealed farm entrance then you add a gallon of diesel
to the van, prime the pump and drive off laughing. Failing that you pay
a garage Ł145 to do the job in their yard and nod knowingly at the
disposal charge they hit you with for pouring the mixture down the
drains.
