Cyclists and motorcyclists will be able to share London bus lanes under
plans unveiled by Boris Johnson.

The positive report buried by Ken has been resurrected.

Yes, but AIUI the cyclists have already been making their whiny, nasal,
self-righteous, condescending, unfounded objections heard.

But cyclists claimed that allowing faster motorcycles into bus lanes would
put them in danger.

More dangerous than that fucking big red routemaster [1] sidling alongside
them then?

[1] or whatever is the modern version/

We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the
drugs began to take hold. I remember Steve Parry
saying something like:

Fuck yes. Ive ridden with people who cycle on pavements, and its fucking
horrendous. At every junction, youve not got right of way, and youve got
fuck all view into junctions. I have no idea why people do it and think its
somehow safer.
