Just been landed with a PDF of a thesis to proofread. 210 pages of
it... Anybody know a good free annotator paogramme I can use to make
corrections/suggestions? Windows or Linux, es ist mir egal.

Now if you was a Professor rather than a minion you would be well within
your rights to ask for paper copy so you could scribble all over it in
crayon. Ask for a promotion.

Although I am rather surprised academia allows electric copies in the
first place, how long has this been going on?

I was given real acrobat writer frm jbex, to annotate drawings, and it
is penc. You cant do small enough fonts or move lines or draw
boxes.

I use (paid for) Serif pageplus X, which lets you load pdfs and edit
them or add other DTP entities on top - does everything I want.

I had to submit electronic copies of my coursework from 2003 on. They ran
them through some sort of anti-plagiarism bot.

Of course, I also had to submit 2 paper copies. One went into an archive
and the other was scribbled on by the elbow-patchisti, then returned to me
with a grade.
