Can someone tell me please.......if the cameras and dvla link is working on
the M4 in Wales, WHY do the Police still use bridge vans for speed
detection?
Are they being double greedy?

Does anyone know the offence committed for non display (deliberate or
not....!!)of a number plate?

Should make an interesting test case. Let us know how you get on.

Thats the point im making..........
We all go round without displaying plates............specially if offense is
less than endorsement on licence..........
Surely someone knows the penalty for non display of the palte?

Ł20) but only if they choose to give you a fixed penalty. If they
report you its up to Ł1000 (soon to become up to Ł5000). Thats for a
straight non-display offence. If they can show you deliberately
obscured or removed it then you could be prosecuted for perverting the
course of justice - which is up to life imprisonment.
If you go to court for a straight fail to display the court now has
power to order forfeiture of your bike as well.
