And if one looks at the links below...

The court heard that Hamed was showing off to his passenger,
businessman Asif Ayub, 46, and did not want to be held up by drivers
who he claimed were slowing down to look at him in their mirrors.

Mr Burgin, who suffered fractures to almost every major bone in his
body, told a newspaper: He walked away from the wreckage without even
checking if I was alive or phoning for help.

Hamed, who was made an MBE in 1999, claimed he left the scene because
other drivers were horrified by what they had witnessed and Hamed
feared an ugly incident.

He was also given three penalty points in 1998, six in 1999 and three
more in 2004 for speeding in excess of 30mph, 40mph and 30mph limits
respectively.

It looks like hes been found guilty of being a celebrity and, as
such, has got fuck all even when fleeing the scene. I never liked
him anyway.

Seriously injured Burgin & partner. Not exactly very interesting though is
it, doesnt even register a blip on my GAFometer. I guess the Volkswagen
fairy was out dossing that day though, or perhaps not.

He neednt do, if enough folks share your view sufficiently to make an
issue of it on paper we can ruin the homicidal cunt absolutely.

OK, lets look at the technicalities of this.

Dangerous driving, max sentence 24 months in jail. He pleaded guilty,
which (if done at the earliest opportunity) means a guaranteed reduction
of 1/3, which gives you 16 months. He was sentenced to 15 months, so
thats 93% of the maximum available penalty at the time of sentencing.

As it was under 4 years, hell have been eligible for release on licence
at the halfway point, so thats 7.5 months inside. Knock off three
months with a peckham rolex and youre down to about 12 weeks anyway.

Hes out, but as mentioned above hell be on licence for the remainder
of the original sentence, and if he steps out of line during that time
hell be recalled.

None of which excuses the offence in any way, but it should go some way
to explaining why he only spent 12 weeks inside, a good few of which
would have been on a near Butlins quality 23-hour bang-up regime. Happy
times, eh?

We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the
drugs began to take hold. I remember toad oftoadhall@yahoo.co.uk saying
something like:

Bad form, but I should point out that since the most serious offence I
can think of for riding like a cunt on a bike, without actually killing
someone, is the same offence as were talking about here, the same
sentencing rules would apply. So a biker doing 160 would have done the
same 16 weeks (not 12 as I said in the other post.)

Would it help if I said hed probably spent at least 13 of those 16
weeks in an open prison where hed have had the key to his own cell?

No, thought not.
