...has recently taken up residence in my garden -- and no, its
not auvache. I think its a pigeon but its hard to be sure as it keeps
itself blown up into a puffball most of the time.

I managed to get within about 6 of it before it flew away just
after that photo was taken. Its not very active... Earlier it decided
to explore under the shrubbery, walking perilously close to the sharp
end of one of my rat traps, so Ive had to disable them.
The ginger cats back; I hope its more wary of cats than people.
